What is Healing Touch for Animals?
Healing Touch for animals is energy medicine. It uses non-invasive touch to promote healing and balance in animals. This method is not meant to replace traditional veterinary care, but rather to assist in the care of your animal.
Healing Touch for Animals releases endorphins. Endorphins relax muscles and increases oxygen, hormones, and nutrients to the body to support healing. This technique works on all levels, physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional.

Call Gina at 517-404-1811 or e-mail her at gina@dogauthority.com to set up a session for her to come and give Healing Touch to your animal. Prices vary depending on the animal. Some may need weekly sessions for awhile and work to a maintenance schedule. Others may need sessions once a month it all depends on the animal and what is going on. Until I can put my hands on the animal I will not know how often sessions should be. Also I can not say for sure how long a session will be because this also depends on the animal. I can say the first session is generally the longest because we are getting to know each other. I love Healing Touch for Animals and I hope you will give me a call to come work with your animal friend or child.
| Testimonials about Healing Touch for Animals |
Our dog, Cassie, was 8 years old this year (2003) and had always had problems with fear aggression. She had never bitten anyone but it seemed that in the two years living in a quieter neighborhood with homes further apart that she had actually gotten worse in her behavior. This was particularly noticeable when people came to our home.
Gina suggested using healing touch therapy. Being in the health field, I was open to the suggestion and the first session was truth in the telling. Our dog settled down very quickly and seemed to truly enjoy the work. At the end of that first session, Cassie gazed into Gina's face with a laughing smile that would melt your heart.

To Those Considering Gina’s Healing Touch,
Clipper (Roonie-Tunes at times to me) nestled her way into many people’s hearts during her almost 15 years of life journey. A large, sweet dog with funny antics, she was fortunate in her final weeks to have Gina with her special Healing Touch regularly join her on her journey.
Racked by back pain that stiffened and shrank the muscles in her hind legs, Clipper had difficulty with stairs and at times making it home from walks. Confusion from old age dementia and limited eyesight also entered her life, along with high anxiety.
Healing Touch visibly eased Clipper’s pain and frozen tension, helping energy flow even to areas with little circulation for 2 years. Gina’s identification of the spot where back pain concentrated also helped me make changes in Clipper’s environment to eliminate everyday re-injury of the spot. Regular sessions of Healing Touch brought amazing and lasting flexibility to those atrophied legs, and Clipper’s mobility improved substantially. Gina touched Clipper in a massaging, petting manner that Clipper enjoyed, and Clipper’s body magically responded. When Clipper neared the end of her journey, Healing Touch also brought respite for a time from confusion and anxiety.
Clipper visibly appreciated the energy and calm, the improved ability to walk and do stairs, the special enlivening attention. I am sure it would make her happy to know Gina was helping other dogs with Healing Touch. That is the kind of dog Clipper (Roonie-Tunes) was.
In loving respect to Clipper and Gina,
Martha Hill, Ph.D.
