Anxiety, Fears, and Aggression

Identifying and Minimizing Fears to Reshape Behavior.

Anxiety in dogs can surface in different ways. Some will cower from their fear. Some dogs will bark because they have learned it will keep many of the things they fear out of their bubble. Some will bark because they are not confident in the situation. Others will bark and snap leading people to think they are aggressive. Some dogs are destructive. Some lick their paws raw. No matter which way your dog or puppy presents their fears, a behaviorist like myself can help in the reshaping of the behavior.

Does your dog suffer from any of these?

  • Separation Anxiety
  • Scared to go on walks
  • Freaks out riding in the car
  • Runs away or barks uncontrollably when visitors come over
  • Fear of other dogs/Aggression toward other dogs
  • Scared of sounds such as thunderstorms or fireworks
  • Licks their paws excessively
  • Pants a lot
  • Paces or doesn’t fully relax
  • Barks at seemingly everything
  • Destructive
